  Cheri was of tremendous help. This was my first time ever having to plan a funeral. It was stressful and scary at first but she was always there to help guide the family in the direction that was best for us. I cannot thank you enough for your hard work and sympathy. Cheri was kind and patient the whole way. 5 STARS!

  I highly recommend the services provided by Harper-Talasek in Belton. They handled all of the issues and questions associated with my father’s funeral in a highly professional and caring manner. I am very grateful to John and his entire staff for all of the assistance and support that they provided to me and my family during a difficult time.

  Such wonderfully caring, dedicated people willing to go above and beyond to help in any way possible during a family's most difficult time. I can't say enough nice things about John, he's respectful and compassionate, just an all-around fantastic guy. Thank you for all you've done to help my family after my father's passing. All things considered, you made the experience much easier.

  First of all, I find it interesting that the previous reviewer also reviewed the other 2 funeral homes in town and rated one of them a 5 star and the others a 1 star and provided no relevant detail for the 1 star ratings. I hope they didn't actually have to have 3 funerals in the same month at three different funeral homes, that would be unfortunate. Otherwise that "review" seems a little shady to me.
  
  I actually had a fabulous experience with this funeral home. Allan Akens is an incredibly kind and caring funeral director and has taken great care of my family. If I ever have to use a local funeral home, I will go to Heartfield with out hesitation and will continue to recommend them to anyone that needs their services.
