    i grew up as a little girl right across the street..grandma said that they hung horse thieves in the the left front corner..back then it was erie,,we didnbt go in there.. we did go to the little church across the street on the corner..now..it is an historical,registered landmark..because,,robert e. lee and ulyssus s. grant are both buried there..imagine that,,how ironic, wouldnt you say

  • I grew up across the street. Taught Sunday School @the little church next to cemetary. We were not allowed to go in the cemetary. Grandma said they hung people in the left front corner. It was Erie. But. It.is now a historical ka smark..ulyssis s. Grant and Robert e. Lee are buried there. It now has an arch/3 flags and blue lights @ night. It is part of the history of our country. I am proud to say I grew up there. Fried Chicken on Sundays
    .it was good. It will always be my home toan. Most of our family have mobed on to a ' higher calling'.our home of record for military.God Bless Our Country. And Honor for those who gave all..Betty lou
